Introduction

The aim of this project financed by the Swiss Centre for Innovations in Learning (SCIL) is to develop a computational framework for modeling and delivering scripts for computer-supported collaborative learning. This purpose of this environment is to spread across the Swiss high school community educational practices that are more innovative than those actually promoted by platforms and standards.

What is a Script?

Free collaboration is not always an effective learning approach. Scripts structure the collaborative process by defining phases and roles, managing resources and deliverables and enable or disabling specific interactions. Scripts, also called scenarios, aim to sustain productive interaction patterns such as conflict resolution, explanation our mutual regulation, because these interactions are mechanisms of knowledge construction. We built different scripts that bring some innovation compared the usual e-learning platforms.
